I have a PRAISE! My oldest and only son played in his last football game Saturday night and won the state champtionship in his school's league (ICSGA! They are a great bunch of kids who have worked really hard & love the Lord. They had a hardbreaking loss in last year's quarter finals and experienced the bitterness of defeat. I am so thankful God allowed them the sweet taste of victory this time!! They will remember His faithfulness through what many say is 'just a game'; but we know God using many things to teach us about Himself!

DeletePraying for His perfect peace to be upon each SHINE girl this week and their family. Father, in each situation we face this week, I pray that we see You in it, and that we draw our strength and wisdom from You to conquer or handle whatever we may be facing. The enemy is under our feet because we have victory in You. Father please continue to watch over Jill and her sweet family. I ask that You always keep Your hedge of protection around each one of them. May Your face continue to shine upon them. May Jill be blessed richly for all the love she pours out, and for her dedication to You and SHINE girls. Please bless each Thanksgiving spent with family, and let it be a time of joy and peace with our loved ones. For many it can be a hard time of year due to the loss of loved ones, or pain, strife, or division in family situations. I pray that You are there to ease the pain of those wounds. DeletePlease keep my friend Katie, her baby girl, and her family in your prayers. Her husband died suddenly of a heart attack last night. We are still in shock and I just pray I can be the hands and feet of Jesus to her during this horrible time. They do not have a church family. Thank you girls!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Lord, please let Katie feel Your strong arms around her right this very second. Sustain her in this time of grief, pain, loss and sorrow. Soothe her baby girl and let her feel Your Presence every second. Let Susan be the hands and feet of Jesus to her friend, and strengthen Susan as she ministers to this family. We love you so much Father. In Jesus name, Amen.
