  1. Father, I lift up each and every SHINE girl to You today. Wrap Your arms around them and fill them with Your JOY! Let their hearts be opened to the fullness of JOY found in YOU. Regardless or our circumstances, Lord, pour Your Joy into our hearts and let it overflow to those around us! Let our faces reflect YOU and YOUR JOY!

Father, especially pour Joy into those suffering from a loss this Christmas. Fill the void of loss with You Joy unspeakable.

Comfort those that are mourning, Father.

    Befriend the friendless.

    Restore Joy into the brokenhearted.

We trust in You and the Power of the blood of Your Son, Jesus!

The Joy of the Lord is our strength today and everyday!

    In Jesus name, amen.

  5. I have a prayer request for a preschool family that went to preschool with my oldest little boy. Also the parents of the dad are members at our church. You might have heard about their story on the news or in the paper last week. The mom, dad and 2 sons (ages 5 & 7) were on their way from Newborn to Athens to see Santa and to go to dinner for the mom & dad's 14th wedding anniversary when they were involved in a wreck killing the dad. Very sad story. Please be in prayer for them and also for the other driver involved - the 16 year old. Here is the story:

Praying Kimberlee! Thank you for sharing. May God be the rock they need in the days to come and now, and the time ahead of them. May His presence be so strong on them and around them, that they feel Him holding them and carrying them through this time. May His mighty hand on them be their source of strength, comfort, and peace. May He go before them and prepare a way where there is no way. Asking that He will touch and care for deeply each and every individual involved in this tragic accident. In Jesus name, amen. With a heart broken for them, love, Sarah

  9. ...A sweet little boy Austin Taylor and his family need our prayers. Mom-Rhonda, Dad-Matt, and little brother Caleb. Austin was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was 2, now 8. He has been cancer free for 5 years now....until earlier this week. They found a mass behind his eye...size of a raquetball. After full body scan, spots were found on his liver...could be side effects from pervious treatments but won't know til biopsy. Bone scan tomorrow. They are going to shrink the mass and remove it when it is small enough. They will begin new course of treatments that they did not use the last go round. We take him to school every day...I have 2 kids, 9 and 6...so without him my car is feeling a little empty in the mornings. :( please prayer for his parents...I cannot imagine what they are feeling for a 2nd time. Thanks you!

Dear Jesus, we come to You and ask for complete healing in Jesus name for Austin Taylor! We pray that from the beginning of treatments until the end of them, You are there comforting, protecting, healing, and overseeing every detail of this journey to healing. I ask that You send Your mighty angels to minister to him, letting him know that everything will be okay and that You are there with him. Father, please do the same with his Mom, Dad, brother, this precious Shine girl who is asking for prayer for him, and anyone else on this journey to healing with Austin. I pray that You cancel out all sickness in his sweet little body, and that Your mighty healing hand will rest and remain on each cell, organ, and part of his body. "All things work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:38 We trust you Lord with Austin and his health! I ask for a hedge of protection around him and his family. Please give his momma and daddy ALL they need to get through this time, and his brother too. Jehovah Rapha, You are his healer! :) In Jesus name, amen. Love, Sarah

Please pray for me. I am fighting with my emotions. I am trying not to get worried and overwhelmed. There is a lot going on in our family and with our business. I am trying to keep my eyes on the good not the bad. I am trying to give it to God. But I am scared and I am worried. I want to be strong. I promised myself and the Lord I would not worry or keep thinking about it all but first thing this morning here I am crying and worried again. Thanks Kelly

Sweet Kelly, I seem to be battling the same thing myself! The Lord keeps reminding me like you to keep my eyes on Him. I pray that doubt and worry and fear would fall off of you in Jesus name. Just like clouds parting after rain, and giving way to light, I ask that He do the same with your emotions! Giving you a clear view of Him holding everything in the palm of His hand, and covering you, your family, and the business. I heard a great sermon yesterday at my home church on this exact thing and needed it so badly! The words were so comforting to me, so I just wanted to share! My pastor said, "The One who created you knows you better than you know yourself." He also said, "Surrender your will to Him. Just give it up. He will fill you with joy." And last he said, "If the enemy overloads you emotionally, he can kill you spiritually. Don't surrender to emotion, surrender your will to God." I ask and pray that your sweet mind would be cleared and set at ease. May His peace cover you! In Jesus name, amen. With much love and total understanding! Sarah
