Prayer Requests and Praises for January 2013....

Prayer Requests and Praises for 12/31-1/31 2013

As we begin this new year, we will have a little change in our prayer request page. We will now have monthly prayer request pages. I feel this is a needed change, because we have many requests that come in and they need constant prayer.

If we have them on this page monthly, we will be reminded over and over again to lift up these needs.

We have many SHINE girls lifting your requests to the Father, and standing in the gap for your needs. Prayer is powerful. Let's use this power to change the world!

on my knees,

jill

    In agreement with prayers here since I was last here...in Jesus' Name!

    Praying for each Shinegirl and all of your families and friends...as far as that tent stretches...

    In Jesus' Name...

    Thank You, LORD, for all that You have done in our lives this past year of 2012...and facing this New Year with optimism...with enthusiasm, in fact!!!

    We the Church Triumphant...the Family of God...are not under the law in the earth...we obey the laws that do not cause us to sin against our God...but we walk to the beat of a different drummer...we are not afraid of this threat...this over the hill thing that we hear on the news daily...

    We set our faces forward...following in line those ahead of us in this army of God...we have set ourselves in order...

    We will give...in order that it be given back to us multiplied! :)

    We will rejoice because our names are written in Heaven!! :)!!

    Glory to God!!! We are the Redeemed of the LORD!!!! and we say so!!!!!

    Woo Hooo!!!!!

    We haven't seen nothin' yet!! The BEST is yet to come!!!!!

    Love you all!!!

  2. In agreement, Aunt Teddi! 2013 will be a year of HIS POWER and HIS GREATNESS!

    Praying for every SHINE girl to feel His presence and His Love. Father, protect Your girls. We claim Psalm 91 over and over again over these lives.

    Psalm 91

    1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
    2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”
    3 Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
    4 He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
    5 You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,
    6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
    7 A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
    8 You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.
    9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
    10 no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
    11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
    12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
    13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
    14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
    15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
    16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”

  3. Linking arms with you, Aunt Teddi and Jill. Giving Him praise and gratitude for 2012 with all of it's lessons and 2013 with all of it's promise. Lord, to You, be the GLORY. We thank you for watching over us in everything and for releasing Your will in our lives. Help us to be faithful to listen to You and read Your word. Help there to be no difference between the Christ followers we claim to be and the Christ followers we are. We love you, Lord and praise Your name. <3

    As Nehemiah repeatedly said, “I am doing a great work and I cannot come down." Nehemiah 6:3

    Thank you for the great work-at work in our lives. Help us to stay the course. In Your name and for Your sake. Amen.

  6. Prayers for the Free family in Swainsboro GA. Mr. Jim is now in Heaven after an accident yesterday while on his property. He leaves behind a beautiful family..his wife, son and two daughters, their spouses, his 8 1/2 grandchildren (one is on the way), his sister and her family and many, many more precious family members. This family couldn't be more precious. I ask my faithful SHINE sisters to pray for this family as they try to live without him. The shock is so great and they will need prayers of comfort and strength in the coming hours..weeks..months. This pain is great but their faith is greater. May they feel the love from our Father, their friends and each other always.

      My 5th grade daughter has gone through the same thing. It's so hard becuase, like you said, she doesn't want to cry and tries not to, but she just can't control it. And there's nothing really going on that she can commuicate to me - either she doesn't know or she doesn't how to express it or it could be just pure separation anxiety. I am thankful things have gotten much better for my dauther at this point. I am praying for your daughter --for her protection and strength to get this hard time. Be strong for her & give her the confidence that she CAN get through this.

    Lord, hear this mothers cry for her sweet little girl. Give this little girl confidence and boldness in all areas. Let her feel Your strength with her at all times. Your word says that we should be anxious for nothing. I pray this little girl will not be anxious, but be at peace as she goes to school. Please draw her husband to You as well, Lord. Give her husband clear direction and let him step up and lead their home in the way you would have him to do. Also, bless this mom and wife as she pleads to you on behalf of her family. Please pray for a friend of mine's ex-husband, his name is Rorry and he has cancer in his liver and other areas close to his liver. Lisa, who was his wife is my friend and she sent me a f/b message asking for prayers for Rorry, he has been raising their son and her worries are for her son. You see years ago Rorry and Lisa lost their two year old in a horrible accident. Lisa was carrying her son Ryan in her arms as she walked in her neighborhood, her other two children were with her. A girl was talking on her cellphone and ran them down. Rorry, the Dad was home getting dressed for them to go out to dinner. Their history ended up so sad and tore their marriage apart. Please pray for the Lord to comfort them, and bring about a total forgiveness for all the pain they poured on each other. Pray for Rorry to find a closer walk with Jesus and peace for their family. I can't or won't imagine losing a child, but I do know this only God can mend the pain, regrets, guilt, sadness and blame. Thank you for lifting up Lisa, Rorry, Erica and Kyle. Love to all. 27. Praying for Jerry Helms.
    Here's what I am praying for Jerry.

    Father, in the name of Jesus, we confess your Word concerning healing. As we do this, we believe and say that Your Word will not return to You void, but will accomplish what it says it will. Therefore, we believe in the name of Jesus that Jerry is healed according to I Peter 2:24. It is written in Your Word that Jesus Himself took his infirmities and bore his sickness. (Matthew 8:17). Therefore, with great boldness & confidence we say on authority of that written Word that Jerry is redeemed from the curse of sickness and Jerry refuses to tolerate its symptoms.

    SATAN, WE SPEAK TO YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND SAY THAT YOUR PRINCIPALITIES, POWERS, YOUR MASTER SPIRITS WHO RULE THE PRESENT DARKNESS, AND YOUR SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES ARE BOUND FROM OPERATING AGAINST JERRY IN ANY WAY. JERRY IS LOOSED FROM YOUR ASSIGNMENT. JERRY IS THE PROPERTY OF THE MOST HIGH GOD AND WE GIVE YOU NO PLACE IN JERRY. JERRY DWELLS IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH GOD; JERRY ABIDES, REMAINS STABLE AND FIXED UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY, WHOSE POWER NO FOE CAN WITHSTAND.

    Now, Father, because we reverence and worship You, we have the assurance of Your Word that the angel of the Lord encamps around Jerry and delivers Jerry from every evil work. No evil shall befall Jerry, no plague or calamity shall come near his dwelling. We confess the Word of God abides in Jerry and delivers to him perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of his nature in his immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of his bones. That Word is medication and life to his flesh for the law of the Spirit of life operates in Jerry and makes him free from the law of sin and death.

    We and Jerry have on the whole armor of God and the shield of faith protects us from all the fiery darts of the wicked. Jesus is the High Priest of our confession, and we hold fast to our confession of faith in Your Word. We stand immovable and fixed in full assurance that Jerry has health and healing NOW in the name of Jesus.

    Isaiah 55:11, Galatians 3:13, James 4:7, Ephesians 6:12, II Corinthians 10:4, Psalm 91:1, 10, Psalm 34:7, II Timothy 1:7, Hebrews 4:12, 14, Proverbs 4:22, Romans 8:2, Ephesians 6:11, 16, Psalm 112:7
