Prayer Requests and Praises for the Week of 9/02-9/08/12

"If faith can move the mountains
Let the mountains move
We come with expectation
Waiting here for you,
We're waiting here for you"

Please join us this week by posting prayer requests here along with praises and pray with us, too (and be blessed!!!)

Lord, God, bless these precious women that make up SHINE. Help us to blaze trails in our walk with you and in the impression we make on those around us. Give us the courage to boldly follow you, dear God. Give us Your Holy Spirit to lead us and help quiet our hearts so that we can hear You. "May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14" In Jesus name, Amen.

Please lift my sweet husband Rodney up, he will be having back surgery early Wednesday morning. I pray for the doctor to have perfect skills and that his body will heal quickly. Lord I pray for comfort and peace and that this surgery will relieve him of this pain he has been in for so many years! Praising God for His awesome power!

I come to you all today and ask prayer for my family. My husband (Paul) is facing a very serious matter with his daughter and her family. I pray the lord will give him strength to do what is right by the Lord. I pray the lord will direct him in this situation and that my husband will feel the Lord presence around him during this time. I pray that the Lord will guide me in this situation to help hold my husband up as the leader of our family. I pray for unity in our family. I pray the children will go unharmed and feel the love of Jesus during this difficult time. Thank you Angela Miller

  6. Girls; may we know there will always be trials and tribulation as we are changed from glory to glory. I pray that we welcome the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and that we KNOW the roar from the enemy is coming. May we stay prayed up, instant in season and out, and may we always look to the Father for guidance. Even so may be know the best defense against the enemy is a good offense. Let's go get um and be ahead of the game. I love you all. In Jesus name, perform Your calling within us and give us the strength and faith to move mountains Lord that your will be performed in us and your light SHINE from us to a sick world out there. We love you Lord. In Jesus mighty and holy name, Amen.

Please add to your daily prayers the protection of our brave men and women that serve our country, in country and out. Especially those that are fighting in Afghanistan. My 2ND cousin Sean has left for another deployment in our fight against terrorism and hate. He is a wonderful young man, and he is in special forces, may we lift him up physically, spiritually, and mentally. Thank you, lots of love and appreciation. Ladona p.s. pray for his family, especially his wife Jenna and son Caden.

  10. Blessings to you and yours Teddi. We're a team and sisters. There is 'no slack' in Him. We said before, we all hold each other's hand, and it is so as we walk steadily toward Him. Let your light SHINE Father in and thru each of us as we hold one another desiring all You have for us. Lord I pray you totally saturate Teddi adn her family with your presence and love. Provide for them the comfort, strength, understanding and peace like your Word tells us that you will and do. I believe for her. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen

  11. One of our own SHINE sisters, Melissa, needs our prayers. Her mom Ann was diagnosed with lung cancer and pulminary fibrosis. Ann had her surgery today and praise God the doctors said they got all of the cancer when they removed part of the lung. Unfortunately, because of the cancer, she is not eligible for a lung transplant. She needs strength and comfort in the coming days as she deals with pulminary fibrosis. Although I don't know Ann all that well, I know her precious daughter Melissa, who is one of the kindest, most beautiful women I know. Melissa's brother is also being deployed back to Afganistan soon, so they have a lot going on. Please pray for their whole family!
