Prayer Requests and Praises for 4/1-4/21

Please post your prayer requests and praises here for the month of April.

We love praying over our fellow SHINE sisters!

Father,

Hear our requests and let Your will be done. We believe in You. We trust You. We lay it all at Your Holy feet.
Cover us with the blood of Your Precious Son, and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Let our families be protected as we begin a new month. The month of Easter is a sacred and Holy time for us. We exalt Your Name on High, Lord Jesus!

In Jesus Name we pray,

Amen.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him." John 3:16-17

Please lift up your beautiful and faithful SHINE sister, Thomasia Alexander. Her mother died tragically this week, and our hearts are broken for she and her family.

Lord, be with them. Comfort them. Give them peace at such a time as this.

We love you, Thomasia!!!

God, you see the broken hearts here and you ARE the HEALER of broken hearts. Impart comfort by your Holy Spirit to these women and strenghten them in the days, weeks and times to come to grieve as You allow in Your time. Bring precious memories to their souls those bitter sweet times of fellowship with their loved ones. As we are not a people without hope, focus their eyes on things above. Just as the grave could not hold Jesus, He paid our price that we may have life and life abundantly and tho the circle be broken right now, it will all become full circle according to His plan. Bless Melissa Martin and Thomasina Alexander with hope in their hearts; walk with them and talk with them and may Your presense abide with them throughtout this time. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for this prayer, Jill. Right about the time you wrote this, my 17 year old son was hit from behind. His truck is old but tough and he did not get hurt but the truck that hit him was crushed and his truck is pretty messed up too but everyone was ok. It's tough to get that call saying your son has been in an accident! Thanks for the perfect timing of your prayer of protection! Pepper

We are so blessed! God is so good! Will you please pray with us, that we will be able to see and have a relationship with our 6 yr. old granddaughter. My husband & I have not seen her in over a yr.. Her Daddy (our son) has not seen her in a year. His ex, the child's Mama, is bi-polar, a very unhappy, self centered lady. We pray for our granddaughter daily, pray for her saftey & well being. We pray for her Mother - pray that she will come to know & love God. Thank you for lifting this situation to God.

Please pray for my Step-Mother's grandaughter, who is going through a difficult time at 14 years old. She is bipolar, and she has a drug addict mother. She has seen more bad things than any child should have to. Now she is struggling and has stopped going to school regularly. She has chosen to go back and live with her drug addict mother and boyfriend rather than stay with her grandparents who have been taking care of her. Please pray that God will touch her heart and get her through these difficult times. I pray she will beat the statistics and avoid becoming a drug addict herself. Thank you for your prayers! --Kathryn M.

Please pray for my dear friend Kristi Patrick. She has been struggling with ulcerative colitis and the doctors have not been very good with her. They have hospitalized her twice, given her blood transfusions, tried to 'put a band-aid' on the problem instead of fixing it and sent her home both times, things have gotten bad. She is now in a different hospital (one that seems to be on top of things) and they have found blood clots in both of her lungs, and her legs. I received news this morning that she is now on a ventilator. Please lift her up in prayer along with the doctors, her husband and her family. She has 3 children, one in middle school and two very young children pre-k and KK age. Thanks so much for your prayers!! I have been praying, but I know that prayer in great numbers will be even more powerful. Thanks and God Bless, Shannon Cagle

Agreeing with you in Jesus Name! May He break any strongholds down that may be hindering this precious young lady from walking in victory with Him. I ask in Jesus Name that he order her steps, that He will lead her, and that she will follow. May she become sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, and be drawn to the things of Him. Lord, cover her, protect her, and lead her out of darkness. And be with her mother Lord, I ask that you break the chains of addiction off of her life, and bring her freedom in You. Give these faithful grandparents the strength and wisdom they need to get through this. Cover them with your peace. Asking that your will would be done, and that the plans of the enemy would fail. Thank you Lord! Love, Sarah

When the mountains seem so large Lord that we can't move them, YOU can. I ask in Jesus name and speak to the mountains in the life of Kristi Patrick to move. Lord, lift her up where she belongs, on top of mountains, where eagles fly. Minister to her thru your holy angels, keep them vigil at her bedside as she patiently awaits her healing. Give doctors and all medical personnel wisdom and knowledge to use the tools they have to bring her to a place of perfect health. Yes, we ask for perfect as you are a perfect God. Thank you Lord for hearing petitions on her behalf, send the answer quickly and let your will be done. Bless her children, give them peace about their Mother. Thank you for Godly friends for her like Shannon Cagle who intercede for her. I praise you now for the work you are doing in both their lives. Amen.

Please pray for my husband, David. We own a landscaping business. Spring time is a highly stressful and busy time for him. He is suffering from anxiety attacks and keeps stating that he fears a heart attack because of his stress. Without going into a lot of detail, I ask that you please pray that David will trust God to be in charge of his day-to-day tasks, that the Holy Spirit would protect him from harm or injury. That God will pour His favor over David and his work.
David works so hard to take care of me and our three boys. I worry about him not resting his body enough. Please pray that his anxiety would be lifted.
Praying Philippians 4:6 continually,

LORD, I agree with Sarah for Anonymous. I know that divorce makes parents that resent each other act out badly...certainly not in the best interest of the child. All grandchildren need grandparents. We all did and our parents did...and so have our children. It's not Your will that this grandmama and granddaddy not be with this grandchild. So, we know that we agree with You, LORD, when we ask! We pray Your will be done and Your Kingdom ocme in the life of the grandgirl...and in the life of her grandparents. LORD, if there's anything that this family needs to do to get things in order as they await the time they see the grandgirl...bring to their minds that they obey You and prepare for the reunion with their grandgirl. We rebuke the adversary for bringing this torment and heartache...and we demand that he remove his hands from this circumstance. We thank You, LORD, for the forgiveness flowing for the daughter inlaw...I know something about having to forgive people who hurt our children and therefore hurt us...and You have allowed love to flow from me that I would have never expected. Thank You, LORD, Your are no respecter of persons...all You need is one willing to walk in this light...and You actually are the one who turns our hearts when we confess our desire to turn. Love You, LORD!!! Love what You are about to do ...as You move in this prayer request! Angels have gone forth to move things...to change things...Expect good news!!!! Woo Hoo!!!1 <3

Agreeing with Sarah and Kathryn, LORD! What a mess, Father! So many parents are addicted to drugs, today...so many are bi-polar. Father, we rebuke all the demonic spirits...and break all of the the generational curses and the ungodly alliances that have the mother in bondage. We stand in the gap...that this daughter will not walk in the same path as her Mom. Thank You for the hearts of the grandparents that have been willing to care for the girl...LORD, there are so many grandparents involved in the care of their grandchildren. We stand against the god of this world and say JESUS is LORD over this family!!! We know that our God is greater than all these problems! He contends with what we contend with, and He fights those who fight us. No weapon raised against His children shall prosper...and every tongue raised against us in judgment we condemn...show to be in the wrong. Thank You LORD for hovering over these precious grandparents and giving them peace that they are persuaded that You are able to guard and keep all that they commit unto You against that day!! You see and know exactly where they all are! We ask for household salvation here, LORD! In Jesus' Name, amen and amen.

Women Who Pray said...

Amen! Thank You LORD for bringing Kristi through this for the sake of her children. You, LORD, will that children be raised by mothers. In Jesus' Name, heal Kristi from the top of her head to the souls of her feet...from the inside out in Jesus' Name. Those children need her. We declare she will not leave this earth one day before her divine appointment, in Jesus' Name, amen and amen.

Women Who Pray said...

LORD, thank You for this precious helpmate interceding for her husband. For her sake, for the sake of Your daughter...relieve her husband of all the fear and stress. Cause them both to Trust You and to lean not on their own understanding...may she cheer him and build him up every day...all day long! You have given them each other LORD, and thanks for such a wonderful couple to live out theri days raising those 3 boys. As a mother of 3 boys...that's quite a calling...I know as does Beka. A handful yes...but a wonder for sure!!! You knew exactly what trials they needed to be the couple you've called them to be. Thanks, LORD, for working it all out...in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

Ok you lovely people, because of you I can open my heart and ask for prayers over my health. Earlier this year I volunteered to work with the church in the children's Adventureland, and did a few times. My health is a daily hindrance, living with pain is a downer. Without going into the detail, I know the Lord is calling me to serve His people and Eastridge Community Church the most humble church I've ever attended. I love those wonderful God led souls, and want to not be a fan, but a follower of Jesus. Participating in their Revolution to help finish what Jesus started. Pray I will forgive myself of my sins and others as I tell myself I do but please pray for me from the top of my thinning hair to the bottom of my crusty feet. Great love I have for y'all, and sitting on the sidelines has never been my place. Pray for my back to heal from surgery and my hip replacement that is giving me grief. Thank you, and I'm especially grateful for your love for Jesus and for Jill and our Shine group. God tells us to never be weary in well doing, Lord knows I don't want to be weary in this life, pray for this old lady to pushed forward regardless of the obstacles. Ladona

Ladona, you are DEFINITELY not a bench warming person! Get out on that field girl and go after it! I can see you know and I'm cheering you on (HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY). You are right, we are NOT fans but followers, rather diciples of Jesus. You go girl and He will do the rest. God I speak divine healing to areas that Ladona specifies and if you allow remaining evidence, I pray you give her the strength and perseverance to jump the hurdles and get to where you need her to be. She is a reservoir of deep water that needs to pour out on your people who are crying for encouragement, leadership, wisdom and guidance. Anoint her, sweet Jesus, to be your heart, hands, ears and mouth and bless her 100 fold for her giving heart. I ask in Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, name, Amen. Cause her feet to walk, be a lamp unto them and a light to her path. Give her keen discernment, instant wisdom, a guard on her heart to know what is you and what just wastes her time. Put your Word in her mouth and your peace in her heart. I love my sister and I humbly ask this according to our Father's will. Amen

Sweet Father I want to lift up the request weighing heavy on the hearts of SHINE girls that are not mentioned on this page. Through it all Lord, may we be drawn to You. Because with You, is where we will find Life.

Amen.

I agree over these petitions in Jesus name. This is what you came for Jesus, to seek and save, to lift up, to heal, to bring life and I claim it in agreement with my sister Lisa over all these souls that look to YOU for solution. Grant your Hand in their lives which will be the BEST solution on earth for them. Amen

I love your heartfelt openness Ms Ladona...and I will definitely pray for you.

There are sweet ladies at our church who every Sunday sit in the infant room so they can smooch and rock babies, I think you'd be perfect at that!! I remember picking mine up from the infant room and they would smell like a Grandmother's perfume! I loved it b/c I knew they'd been snuggled close the entire service. :) Love, Lisa

LORD, I lift up my first-born, and I ask that You heal him! Thank You for His life...Thank You that He is here! I thank You that I am persuaded that He is able to guard and keep what I've committed unto Him. Having committed Him...body, soul, and spirit...to You, LORD, I stand in Faith believing for his healing. LORD, I thank You, for healing his lungs and bronchial tubes...I thank You for healing him of pneumonia and chronic bronchitis and asthma! I thank You for healing him of arthritis that has come from the hip and knee injuries...in Jesus' Name! I thank You for healing all the emotional wounds, in Jesus' Name. I also thank You for healing his wounded spirit. You have promised that You contend with the things I contend with...that You care about what I care about. You have promised to guard and keep what I have committed to you. You are not a man...a human being..., LORD, that You should lie...or the son of man that you should repent or change your mind...have You said and will you not do it? or have You spoken and will You not make it good! I praise You! I magnify You, LORD, that You are who You say You are...You will do what You say You will do...I am who You say I am...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...and Your Word is alive and active in me...I believe You, God! You say that without Faith we cannot please You, LORD! You say that Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! You say speak things that are not as though they are! In the authority and power that I walk in in Your Name, LORD, I declare Timothy healed in the Name of Jesus! I expect to see what I believe in Faith!!! You say
Faith is the substance of things hoped for...the evidence of things not seen! I don't see...but by Faith I declare that I see it done! You forgave all our iniquities...and healed all our diseases...more than 2,000 years ago! By You stripes, LORD!! We are healed!!! It is finished!!! Glorrryyy!!! Expecting LORD...pregnant with Your Word...Your promise of healing my boy!!! In Jesus' Name, LORD!!!! All in agreement say amen and amen!!! SO BE IT!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!

Wow, I am overwhelmed by your sweet prayer, Aunt Teddi. I guess sometimes I dont' want to share about our loss because it was so long ago but it hurts just as much on those anniversary days! All that pain just roars back in like a wave. It certainly doesn't seem that long ago to us. On the day you wrote & prayed, that was the day of her funeral. Thank you for praying - my mind was struggling with thoughts of leaving her there in that cemetery.
She was a precious girl-- a surprise preganancy- but she was sweet, sweet sweet! God gave us another daughter exactly a year later (we have two older kids as well). We named her Hope. She is joy.
You are right, the people in our life back then and even now literally carried us with their prayers & bore our burden. Hannah donated her organs and I am grateful for her gift of life to so many others. Yes, I can't wait to see her again but it is comforting knowing she is experiencing Jesus in a way we cannot know yet, but we will! My mom died a year after Hannah. I know they are having a blast. thanks again:) Pepper

agreeing with you Aunt Teddi! This brought me to tears! YOU have such the gift of intercessory prayer and praying the Word over us! We are so grateful for you! May the Lord richly lavish you with His best blessings. Starting from you and your husband and pouring down into your children and grandchildren.

Thank you for inspiring me!

I love you!

Danielle, we come together and lift up Joy to the Father! Lord, YOU named her that beautiful name...JOY! What a JOY she is to YOU! YOU alone have the power to heal her and make her whole. Father, we ask that you spare her life so that she may see her children and grandchildren grow up.

Father, we ask that her life be a testimony to those around her! Let YOUR GLORY be shown through the life of JOY!

Thank you for Danielle who is petitioning on her behalf for her healing. We pray that you bless her for her love and faith!

In Jesus Name.

Momma, agreeing with Aunt Teddi, Terri, Sarah and Lisa over your divine healing! The Lord is calling you to walk in faith to Him..trust Him. Keep moving although you may not see. HE will provide your healing. Start proclaiming it! Through faith in our heart we believe, and we confess our faith with our mouths. Praising Him and dancing in the streets for your healing!!!

Lord we claim victory over our boldness in Christ! We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! We will speak of your Glory every single day!

The more we speak, the more you will reveal to us, Father. WE believe!! Give these girls HOPE in their hearts! Give them a mouth that cannot help but to praise YOU! Let them ooze with love and adoration for their KING!

Oh, you are so worthy!! Worthy is the Lamb! Protect our SHINE sisters, their families, their health, their finances, their hearts!

Lead them straight down that narrow path to the greatest Kingdom to ever reign!

In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Pepper, I was pregnant with my Joseph when Hannah went to be with Jesus. I will never forget that day! It is seared in my heart! It changed me!

I think of you so many days! When life gets hard, I think of you and your strength! I really do! Your faith has inspired me through so many years. When Hope was born to your family, I knew that she was a gift from Heaven for you! Your story increased my faith so much.

Thank you for setting such a high standard of faith for me and so many others.

Love you so!

'For His eye is on the sparrow and I KNOW He watches me'. I praise you Lord God in the midst of the battle, I praise you for anointing my eyes to see you, the eyes 'I look unto the hills from whence cometh my help, the Lord God who made heaven and earth', thank you that I'm one of your sheep and you say I will know your voice, I praise you when I'm in the valley knowing that victory is on the way, knowing you are doing a 'good' work, knowing you are with me ALWAYS, knowing the 'battle is yours' and when I must confront the giants in my life, I come before them in the name of the Lord God of Israel, just as David shows us. You will direct the rock to destroy my enemy, you will avenge me, you will hide me in the cleft of the rock, you will tuck me under and cover me with your feathers, you will give your angels charge over me, you will empower me with your Holy Spirit do do battle as you direct, you make me strong, you give me confidence and courage and when I can't walk, you will carry me. 'I WAIT UPON YOU LORD, and I will mount up with wings as eagles, I will run and not be weary, I will walk and not faint'. I am saying 'here I am Lord', glorify Yourself in and thru me, let Your will be done. You are worthy, you are the author and finisher of my faith, I will look to you, I will praise you, I will wait to hear your voice and I will move upon command. My heart fills with Your Word, bring forth the Word from me as I have prayed you will, sharper than a two edged sword to cut and divide so very close, when I need to speak it to the enemy when he would whisper lies. I cover these SHINE Girls and their families with the blood of the Lamb, I thank you for this ministry of 'life', the life it brings to each and every girl we will only know in eternity in your kingdom. Teach us Your ways Lord as we fix our eyes on You. Help us to help each other. I love you Lord. Thank you for your son Jesus, in His name, Amen.
