Please post your prayer requests and/or praises on this post. We have SHINE intercessors lifting you up daily. If you want to be a SHINE prayer intercessor, please let us know.

Thank you for letting us pray for you. Prayer is powerful, sweet friends.

please pray for God's direction with SHINE. i would love to get SHINE a website, to make it more user friendly. however, we need God's guidance and provision in this. i don't have the funds to do something like this or the knowledge...so, it will take God sending someone to help us.

love you girls and praying for you daily. <3

My other request is for my dear friend Jenny and fellow SHINE girl. Her father passed away unexpectedly. Please lift her up in prayer.

I am so encouraged by this group! I am so blown away by how God is working through it. Jill God is really doing great things through you.
I really need prayers for my sister right now. She has been battling depression, ocd, and anxiety for a long time and just recently this year it's gotten worse. She is truly in a battle with her mind and it's gotten to the point where her life is worthless to her. She is such an amazing woman of God but Satan is after her. Please keep her in your prayers that she will continue to fight and that God will show us how to help her.
I'm so grateful for all of you! God is incredible.

Thank you for Shining, this group has been a blessing to me. Praise: that we found a church where 1 Sam. 16:7 is not an issue as it was in our former church where it was all about that facade. Prayer request: for my ongoing issues following major abdominal surgery/hysterectomy over two months ago. Had another procedure recently and am possibly looking at a third one. Starting to get discouraged though I know this is the enemy at work and I am actively resisting, in His name! Many thanks for your prayers.

Please pray for my little girl Presley. She is 2 and a half and we are taking her to the eye doctor tomorrow at 8:15 am CST. She has been complaining of eye pain and rubbing them for a while now. Please please please pray that she is healthy and mommy is just overreacting!! Thanks so much ladies!! Lifting you all up! Melanie

Hey Melanie. Read Psalm 91 with Presley. While she's snacking or in her room playing...read it out-loud. It is a powerful chapter! And you can personalize it by putting her name in it. If anything, you will be comforted by God's Word. It is breathing and living!! Also Psalm 23. Girl you just can't go wrong with reading God's Word out-loud. I will be praying for you.

Joining you in this request. Can't wait to see what our Father will do for His SHINE girls!

The Word tells us 'we have not because we ask not'. Lord, here our sister is asking and in Jesus name, I agree with her adn Sweet Inlow to supply this need, even right now, a quick answer if it be Your will (and I can not see how it is not your will) but trust You to know where and how. You 'own the cattle on a thousand hills and you know where the gold is in the mountain'. Therefore, could you just please send us from your supply of websites. This is YOUR Shine ministry, we give it all to You so therefore, let Your provision for it come forth, faith believing. Amen and AMEN

Terri Abbott said...

Amen Sweet Inlow, I agree this is the mind of the Lord for Melyshea and her daughter.

Thank you Father for these precious hearts full of compassion for others they love as well as requesting you direct themselves. I request you honor these petitions, grant Kelly's request for her friend whose Father passed, give her peace and walk with her thru the days, weeks and months ahead. Praise God for her Father's good report, we further cover him in the blood of Jesus from the top of his head to the tips of his toes as our Aunt Teddi prays.
Bless 'Anonymous' sister as she battles the enemy. Let the mighty wind of the Holy Spirit blow the air clean that she may receive your truths in her mind and we bind the enemy's lies from anylonger tormenting her in Jesus name. Satat, you will NOT kill, steal or destroy her any longer, be bound in Jesus name.
Lisa; that's SO great God has planted you where you are free in his body of Christ and you are testifying of same. God loves that and I am so excited for you! I pray for any female issues the are ongoing and as the woman with the issue of blood, we touch the hem of Jesus' garment and claim complete healing, right now - FAITH BELIEVING and for ANY other female with womb issues, ovary issues, infirmties of female parts, prenancy's. I declare the mouth of the roaring lions be hushed and that fear be replaced with 'perfect love' as your word Lord says this is how we cast out fear in Jesus name. We don't understand it all, but we believe you for all that you allow in our lives, we trust you, teach us to walk with you in trust and courage, still our pounding hearts, guide the doctors and all who attend these women with knowledge, wisdom and solution. Amen

Dear God in heaven, please bless this group of Shine Girls. Bless and heal them all in loss, Father, in marriages that need more of you, Father, in their work at home and in their jobs outside of the home. Bless them as they reflect Your love, Lord, to their friends and family who have endured illness, financial pressures, job loss and death. Help us all to spread the words as we pray and minister to those around us and continue to heal us (the Shine Girls group) in the process. As you draw us closer, Lord, I pray you draw closer all our of loved ones, Father. I pray that this group of girls would be vigilant to listen to Your calling, Lord. Ignite us to SHINE, in Jesus name and heal the brokenhearted and bind up their (our) wounds...Psalms 147:3

We love you, Lord, may we seek You and find You when we seek You with all of our hearts. Jeremiah 29:13 Thank you for purifying us, even now. May we glorify you, in Jesus' name we pray.

friend, i can very much relate to where your sister is at. in fact, my sister could have written this very same thing about me! :)

i haven't shared my testimony with all of you yet...but it is similar to your sisters. i am living proof that God can and will heal her.

if i could--i would like to recommend a book by Joyce Meyer called "battlefield of the mind". it is very, very good and helpful.

please encourage her to soak herself in scripture. if you can, write on notecards scriptures about anxiety and give them to her to tape around her house. (i have them all over my house!)

this story touches my heart on so many levels. it is very personal to me. the battle of the mind is very real, and very destructive.

i will pray for her to look to the Lord...and to continue to look to Him until she is healed. i would also encourage her to have her hormones checked out...it may be a chemical imbalance of some sort. that is also very real.

much love and my sincerest prayers to you and your sister,

jill

Another wonderful person to read after is Sheila Walsh...many of us heard her speak at the Women of Faith conference at Philips Arena this past fall...her book is God's Promises. She tells of her mental break...she was a co-host with Pat Roberson on the 700 Club for years. Jill's advice about the WORD is the answer! I know that the battles I've been through...well, I give the WORD as my answer to everything! I pray the WORD every day for more than an hour...the washing of water by the WORD...the WORD is a lamp unto my feet..a light unto my path...I hide it in my heart that I not sin against GOD...If I abide in Him, and His WORD abides in me...I ask whatever I will and it will be done for me..He keeps me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on Him...it's not once in awhile..or sometimes...it's a lifestyle...I choose the WORD above all else every day...I must or I can't pray for the needs of others as I do each day...I pray for your sister...I pray that whatever doors have been opened for the adversary to gain entry..that those doors be shut!! I pray open the doors that the LORD wants open for her...I thank You, Holy Spirit for hovering over her ...breathing life into her and her circumstances...in Jesus' Name...Amen and Amen!!!

Women Who Pray said...

Agreeing with these prayer warriors, LORD, for Melyshea and her daughter...Psalm 112: We are not afraid of bad news...our hearts are fixed...established upon the Word of the LORD. Thank You, LORD, that whatever has bothered this little one's eyes ... we bind it...in Jesus' Name..as we have the keys to the Kingdom. Whatever we bind on earth is bound in Heaven...and whatever we loose on earth is loosed in Heaven...in Jesus' Name...where any 2 of us agree as touching anything on earth..we ask and it shall be done by our Father who is in Heaven...one of us chases 1,000...2 chases 10,000...at least 4 million chased now! Glorrryyyy!!!! In Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

Father, only You know where she is and only You can direct the searchers to find her. So many miracles with those saved in earth quakes, tornadoes, and even avalanches...in Jesus' Name. We thank You for Your angels LORD! We ask for Your angels stationed all around Michelle, in Jesus' Name. We know that the reports sound grim, but Father as Ps. 112 says...we are not afraid of bad news..we are fixed and established on the WORD of God...we are declaring a miracle, in Jesus' Name...and we expect it...not double-minded praying...not tossed 2 and fro prayers...we speak things that are not as though they are...we speak Faith!!! in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen...

Please pray for a single mother that I met recently who has been in physical pain following a car accident last summer. She is struggling to find help in caring for her four-year old daughter and is coming to terms with the fact that she may have to place her with a foster family or put her up for adoption. Please pray for the best solution for both mother and child. My heart is breaking for them both.

I had asked for prayer in week one re: my angry husband and prayer for our marriage. In praying and seeking God's will and surrounding myself with support from my church- he is increasingly angry and for over a month now is accusing me of having an affair. That is the last thing on my mind!! In my growing walk with Christ in the last year,I have found that he believes that God did not send Jesus to die for us- that it was all mans fault and that the only true sayings in the bible that are of God are the ten commandments. He believes that the bible was written by men and not by God. I have been with this man for almost 19 years- how did I stay so blind?? He believes that my duty to him is sex and that is all he needs from me! How do I stay true to God and my marriage when so much anger fills my home?? There is sooo much more but thanks for all prayers! I know only God can heal- Just praying for God to speak to me re: what to do??

Praying for each and every one of you and these requests! Praying the Lord continues to lead Jill and covers her and her family.

Thanking the Lord for Kelly's news about her Dad! Praying for the request of "anonymous". May the Lord do a mighty work in her life, and accomplish things for her that she could have never imagined. Praying that He touches her with healing rivers that flow through every part of her body, life, home, and most of all, her mind. Praying that He sends others filled with His promises and truth to minister to her and bring her out of these dark depths the enemy has tried to keep her in.

Thankful to the Lord for Lisa's praise! :) Praying that the Lord is the master physician for Lisa's ongoing issues. Asking for wisdom in her doctors and for the Lord's hand to be on her.

Praying for Melyshea's baby girl! Asking that the Lord, who made those precious eyes, would have the final say over them and keep His healing hands on them. Lord, please take her pain away, and heal anything that needs your touch Father.

Please hear Rebekah's sweet prayer for all the SHINE girls. May it be as she has said! Thank you for bringing us together and allowing us to glorify you.

And Lord, please be with her friend, Michelle. Please open up areas that may need to be opened for her to be seen. And please hold back any avalanche that could be fatal. I am in agreement with Ms. Teddi! Thank you Lord.

Also, praying for (anonymous) family and small business. Asking you make a way for them Lord and open doors that can lead to GOOD business. I ask that you give them peace in this waiting.

May He bless each and every member of SHINE and continue to do His good works through each girl! In His Love, Sarah Frachiseur

Please pray for my baby boy. I took him to the doctor today because he wasn't feeling well. His strep test was negative, and they were not sure what he had. He felt awful today and was just pitiful! :( He ran a high fever and stayed in my lap most of the day. And my babies don't usually run high fevers. Very unusual for my EXTREMELY ACTIVE little fella! :) Please pray he feels better soon! Thank you so much! Sarah Frachiseur

I guess I should have said it may be something "viral"? With everything going around it's hard to tell. Just a little correction! :)

Rebekah Hudgins said...

Your words about "a breakthrough" remind me of fasting. It may sound crazy... but when prayer is coupled with fasting, my life mentor told me to "expect a breakthrough." I had one! I have only felt led to fast once before, last month, but it is an incredible experience to walk with God and HEAR HIM. When my mentor desperately needed an answer to prayer, her own mentor told her to "name her fast."

The Lord honors fasting and you will have the breakthrough you so desperately seek.

My heart goes out to Anonymous that posted yesterday at 6:45. I am in the same type situation and it is extremely hard to keep faith when the person you love - unconditionally - treats you with such hatred sometimes. I struggle daily to Shine for my husband. I feel like, as long as this has been going on, that God must be punishing me...I KNOW that's not true and that is Satan telling me this but I'm broken - emotionally, spiritually, mentally, ....I have been praying for years & still nothing.
I love my husband with all my heart. I tell him often that I'm going to make it to our 25th anniversary with or without him (we still have a long way to go....). So he knows I'm not giving up but I think sometimes that just drives him to being more disrespectful. We've separated several times over the last several years. I come back only to broken promises. That breaks my heart even more. He promises church, reading the Bible together as a family...I've been home just over a week again & he hasn't kept his word. He is a good man! He has a big heart! But he has been hurt by his previous marriages that I unfortunately have to suffer the wrath for.
My prayer is for my husband to learn to trust God; learn to forgive and forget; learn from his past experiences; learn to know that he is forgiven; not be afraid to allow God to lead him; not to worry what the neighbors will think; be the wonderful man God wants him to be so that he will be the best husband & father we could ever ask for; put God 1st.
My other prayer is for myself: to not give up; to dig deep in to God's word and learn; give God my all; not to be afraid to Shine for my husband & kids; to have a mentor to teach me & show me scripture about being a Godly woman/wife/mother; and to exercise obedience :)

I absolutely love this group. I used to pray for a mentor & god gave me Jill and now...I have an army of mentors. All I can say is Teach Me. Show Me. I am ready to take it all in.

Love, :)

I will be lifting them both up to the Father. Asking in Jesus name that our sweet, heavenly Father hears this need and request. Praying that He oversees this situation and that healing takes place, doors and opportunities open up, and that He keeps this mother and daughter together. Praying that He fits every puzzle piece together for them both. I ask for protection, peace, joy, and abundance for them both. And I ask that all of their needs are met. Thank you Lord for this mother and daughter relationship. Please bless it beyond belief! Thank you. In Jesus Name. Amen. Love, Sarah Frachiseur

Still praying! Believing with Sweet Inlow! In total agreement! Sometimes the nasty devil hits even harder right before a breakthrough. He knows the Lord has great plans for you and your husband. He knows how hard you are trying, so he will throw every trick out there that he can. But take heart in knowing, "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." 1 John 4:4 Keep pressing on and believing. Praying for the Lord to reveal His plan for you to you. Praying for wisdom to flood your husband's mind, and for his heart to soften to what the Lord has to say. Asking the Lord to send peace in abundance to your home. In His Love, Sarah Frachiseur

I can't get book right now but I do have Stormie Omartian's book The Power of Praying through the Bible :) Thank you both so so much for the resources :)YH

I always have to remind myself that it's not God's will that any perish and that all come to repentance. I have to say to myself that I am not willing to keep that person from heaven..to block them out. It has helped when the LORD says to love our enemies. I have to remember that they are not attacking me but the LORD I represent when they persecute me or say harmful things about me..or all that 1 Peter says they will do to us...I pray for you to keep your mind stayed on the Word. Amen to Jill. Use the powerful Word of God "Anon'. The enemy 'goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour' except he has no teeth when we use the weapon that Jesus used against him and that is the Word. It says 'When the Enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God will raise a standard against him!' Isaiah 59:19 ...YOU will be the standard and from the very best you can be as a Godly witness, the standard God raises in you will be greater than the flood. He says so. The emotional pain from a trusted family member is deep. If you can ask God for His guidance, He will take you thru this storm and USE YOU TO SET THIS STANDARD. FORGIVE, forbid the root of bitterness to get a hold in your heart; guard your heart. LOVE the unlovely with UNCONDITIONAL love, PRAY for the family member; RUN to the roar and tell GOd, 'ok I'm ready' You can do this. God I ask for the supernatural presense of the Holy Spirit for this precious soul that has come to YOU for solution. COME Holy Spirit, lead her thru this storm, teach her to witness you, give her strength to accomplish your purpose in her and in the life of the fam member. When she sees NO progress, give her the gift of endurance to persevere to hear and obey you, to trust you with her pain. Take the relationship to a new place, better than ever before founded on your principles. In Jesus name, Amen.

I am so thankful for this group! It has been such an answer to prayer. I truly feel so alone in my corner of the woods up North and have not really met any other sisters to connect with. I am excited to know someone's is reading God's word too and that we can pray for one another. For a long time, I have said I can't do much, but I CAN pray. Almost as if nothing, but I have seen God move in mighty ways and he is faithful. He hears my prayers and loves for us to share and cry out to him and love on all of us. I have had my world turned upside down and turned inside out and God has over and over been faithful, even thru my struggles 1/2 obedience. His ways have been better than I ever could have imagined. I have felt him carry me thru when I couldn't have taken another breath. I have been thru so many things with my husband I never ever imagined what I think is going on. One black weed is all it takes. For the 1st time we were both growing and glowing in the Lord. And then a tiny lie planted and seed has grown into strangling vines killing our relationship and I am afraid infidelity on his part. That simple that quick now I am crying out and have no clue where to step or proceed. I am crying out for God to let me see him thru his eyes and not build up walls to keep my heart safe, but I am struggling. 4 kids, stay at home home, divorce not an option except for infidelity. Highly suspicious, but not concrete so than wonder if Satan twisting to pull us apart, or is it I don't want it to be. I home school and don't want to loose my kids or time. Family is of utmost important. It really is something that happened overnight-- even kids noticed and saw in relationship with them. I take responsibility I apologize, God of Mercy and Grace please! I know I wrestle not with flesh and blood but principalities of good and evil, I pray against them in the name of Jesus Christ. I struggle with how to act and do right now. If he is cheating on me I don't want that kind of intimacy and he denies it. I am not good at games and sneaking around I don't know how to proceed and hard to hide it. Oh daddy I need your wisdom! Then I think it's nothing I am just loosing my mind. So please pray! Thank you!

Okay...if I can put it on the "give away" post..I should put it on the prayer request post!! My husband and I are expecting our third child in September. It has been a whirlwind since we found out b/c it was TOTALLY unexpected. We are going through all kinds of different emotions. With both of my previous pregnancies, I experienced spotting in the early weeks. I was praying that I would "get by" without it this go around, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I don't go to the DR until Feb. 17 to have my first ultrasound, so for now, I'm doing a lot of praying and waiting. will you please pray for me and the baby. The spotting just comes and goes and isn't heavy...but still so scary when I see it. It's amazing how much you don't realize you even WANT a baby until you find out that he/she is already growing inside you! Thank you friends!

2 Timothy 1:12; 'For I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that he is able to guard that which I give to him for this day.' The power for your friend to overcome is here in the Word. From 'this day', hearing the diagnosis that came to your friend, Kelly, I claim this promise with you in agreement in Jesus name on her behalf. As we stand in the gap for her here, we KNOW that He is ABLE, it says so. We believe and give this hateful leukemia dianosis to our Lord Jesus. As we are learning in 1 Samuel, 'the battle is the Lords'. Continuing I curse this leukemia, I come to this giant in the name of the Lord God of Israel and declare it to be slain and declare it DONE. The ROOT of it is pulled out, it will wither and dry up loosing any and all effectiveness. I pray this in Jesus name. Lord give this friend your peace, your strength and speak to her in quiet hours, giving her ears to hear YOU, that YOU are WITH HER. 'Yea tho she walk thru the valley of the shadow of death', it's just a shadow. Prepare a place for her before her enemy, anoint her from the top of her head to the tips of her toes till, YES, her cup runneth over. I declare and claim that 'SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY WILL FOLLOW HER ALL THE DAYS OF HER LIFE' and she will dwell in your house now and forever. Hallelujah! I love you Lord for your goodness. Pour out your spirit on this friend and love her like she's never been loved before. AMEN

Lisa!!! Shazam! Why don't we fast more???!!!! I am with you. It was the most wonderful experience, hard too, but in the end I felt I learned so much and the Lord did so much maintenance on my heart. I was thinking, "Fast and pray, really Lord? This is me you're talking to..." But, I was so glad when I was finally obedient, too. In the end, I was the one who benefited.
I echo your feelings, "I cannot recommend it enough!"

Heather, I am praying for you. I encourage you to find peace in scripture. Don't allow paranoia, at this point, to ruin your marriage. Talk to your husband. Continue to be the Godly wife that you are to him and do your best to not allow yourself to be filled with anxiousness and insecurity. The lack of trust and the doubting where he is or who he is with will destroy you. Don't play games, just be honest with him and confide in him your reason for thinking he is being unfaithful. If he says he is not, do your best to trust him. Pray God will give you the strength to love him and to not allow Satan to fill you with doubt.

I am lifting you and your family up to our Heavenly Father and asking Him to restore your relationship with your husband and make your marriage better than it has ever been. May God reveal Himself to you and give you peace in this time of such uncertainty.

Blessings to you sweet SHINE sister. You are not alone in this trial...we SHINE sisters are praying for you and trusting in Him!

Mrs. Lancaster,

Continued prayers for this sweet baby's health! I pray that your worries and fear be quieted by the Peace of Jesus Christ. I pray that we commit tomorrow into His hands and that you are able to rest and eat and sleep well today.

A Daily Prayer from Germaine Copeland
"I come before You rejoicing, for this is the day which You have made and I will be glad in it. To obey is better than sacrifice, so I am making a decision to submit to Your will today, that my plans and purposes may be conducted in a manner that will bring honor and glory to You. Cause me to be spiritually and mentally alert in this time of meditation and prayer.
It is into Your keeping that I place my family—my parents, spouse, children and grandchildren—knowing that You are able to keep that which I commit to You against that day. Thank You for the angels that You have commanded concerning me and my family to guard us in all our ways; they will lift us up in their hands so that we will not strike our foot against a stone." Germaine Copeland

Thank you for guarding this baby, Lord. We trust you, Jesus, Amen.

Your prayers mean so very much. The mother has a doctor's visit today with a surgeon to determine how she can recover and if she is a candidate for back surgery. I will keep you posted on the outcome. She wants to keep her job and get well so that she can focus on raising her daughter. She feels very alone, as her parents are deceased and her sister has adopted three children through child protective services and is not able to take in this child due to issues these children are facing. I appreciate all of your prayers.

Please pray for our family's restoration. Mind you, they are not children, but adults who range from the ages of 30, 31, 32, and 36. We truly need restoration and reconciliation for all of us. Thank you and may God bless you for all you do for us.

The doctor's visit was disappointing for the mother today, as she was told that her discs are inoperable and that she needs to keep up with physical therapy and take her pain medicine. She doesn't know how she can keep going with this pain. Please pray that she will be healed and that we can find her a resource to help with respite care so that she has some relief and can get better - without having to give her daughter up. I have found a connection through a community center that I am passing along to her. Please pray that this is the answer. Thank you for praying.

Anonymous God hears your prayers of supplication for your troubled marriage, as we pray in agreement right now, Lord, You have said in Your Word that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, You will not hear (Psalms 66:18). Hear our prayers, as we ask you to reveal where there is disobedience in this marriage, show if there is selfishness, unloving, critical, angry, resentment, unforgiveness, or bitterness, we ask for your anoiting in the name of your son Jesus to release obedience to your laws and Your ways. Uproot anything that is not of You. Lord, we give you complete control of our thoughts and actions. Proverbs 3:2-3 "My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart." we ask these things to You our Father God, and through the Holy Spirt, in Jesus name we pray, Amen. Stay faithful and do not give up the good fight, if possible include your children and continue your faithfulness to God and your marriage. Jeremiah 7:23 "Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you. Love you dearly.

O Beka...I feel so for Ashley. I only had one miscarriage, but the loss was monumental...and for my heart to heal completely, I sought a woman whose ministry was inner healing...we pray if that's what she needs she'll come on the scene. My friend Janet's only daughter was her 4th pregnancy...I think. We worked together, and when she found out she was pregnant, we lay hands on that womb and prayed for her. Morgan is like 12 now. We ask LORD, that Ashley lay hands on her womb, and Beka and I pray in agreement for her body to heal. We pray for any future zygote attach strongly to her uterus...that her cervix be healed..tight...to hold a baby. We pray she rest...keeping feet up during the day...all that I had to do to carry Frank...and your Mama had to do to carry you and Mary. We thank You, in advance, for Ashley's hurt heart and her body being healed from the inside out...that she be healed from the top of her head to the tips of her feet...in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

Lord I pray in agreement with Anon about Anon's marriage. I see this precious soul is awake in the early morning hours as her heart aches for a Godly marriage. Father, I pray you hear our intercession in agreement as two or more touching in your Son Jesus' name. Grant, I pray, all petititions made according to your will. I speak to any mountain blocking a God/Holy Ghost move in the marriage to be MOVED in Jesus name. I pray that there a new sense of trust and vulnerability in the hearts of this husband and wife. I come against any divisive spirit and pray the binding compassion and trust brought by the HOLY Spirit to be released between them. Lord, this fire has to produce fine gold, give them perseverance to press thru and allow the refining. Give them a preferential (sp?) love - yea -an unconditional love for one another. Open their eyes to see their marriage as you desire it to be and an unquenchable thirst to KNOW you and to yield to YOUR teaching in all of this. Thank you Lord. I praise your goodness and that Your work will be a complete, HOly Ghost sealed work. In Jesus name. Amen

Especially to pray for others instead of focusing only on my family. I love praying for others and have gotten so bogged down with all of this. Jessica, we were driving to dinner tonight and my husband told me this story. He said Jay's brother used to work with him at his current business. I told him that you had put this prayer request on the blog, and that we had all been praying for Jay.

He told me Jay passed away today. Sweet Lord. I am so sorry. We will all continue to pray for Jay's family. I cannot imagine what they are going through. Lord, be with them.

Jesus, bind their wounds, Father. Lord, we weep with the Payne family. Let us carry the burdens with them, Jesus. Give them peace and comfort as they mourn their precious and beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. We do not understand when things like this happen. Our flesh gets the best of us as we question, why?? However, we trust in Your plans, Lord. We trust in You.
